Great post Sevi! There is great value in applying what one learns from one discipline to another discipline. Debussy certainly learned from Degas and Monet. Kandinsky certainly learned from Shostakovich and Stravinsky. Henry Miller idolized Edgard Varese. John Cage was a collage artist in addition to being a composer, and turned his scores into the stuff of his collages. Creativity knows no bounds!
